Building new power plants is an extremely costly and time-consuming investment for utility companies. Nilar batteries can be arrayed into solutions to store green energy from renewable sources and/or off-peak production, and then release this electricity back onto the grid during peak periods. Nilar load leveling arrays can be staged at central locations near the power plant or distributed out to neighborhood locations closer to power consumption as needed.
In addition, distributed load leveling arrays can assist in improving power quality to provide power conditioning for equipment that requires clean power and provide protection from brown-outs and power spikes.
